So you've read this post's title...

And now you are probably thinking, "why is he still posting about college stuff after he has graduated?"

Fortunately this post isn't actually about college.

Rather, this post is about a movie called College, starring Buster Keaton.

Last Thursday, Robin and I went to The Organ Loft in Salt Lake City to view this classic silent film.

The cool thing about The Organ Loft is that the films they show are accompanied by a live organist on a Whurlitzer theater organ! The guy is amazing!  He plays the music and sound effects, perfectly in sync with the film, completely from memory.

It's pretty much the coolest thing ever!

Also, College was so dang funny! Seriously we were laughing hysterically!
It is without a doubt the best silent film I have ever seen.

I loved it!

If you have any interest in silent films, this is definitely one you should check out.

Some Frivolous Spending

Today I may or may not have spent $84 on cookies.
$84 on Girl Scout cookies to be exact.

One entire case of Thin Mints,
One entire case of Samoas.
Life is good.

The girls were so excited about my monumental purchase that they wrote and performed a spontaneous song and dance number for me.

It was pretty dang rad.

I asked them if they were doing well with their sale, and one replied "we are now."

You might be thinking that my cookie supply will be well stocked for a while...
but you would be wrong.

They will be gone by the end of next week!

Not really though.
